Exercise key to Alzheimer's prevention

It is no secret to seniors that exercise and good dieting habits go a long way to keep you living longer and healthier, but new research says it will also help stave off Alzheimer's.

According to, The Lancet medical journal reported that up to 3 million cases of Alzheimer's around the world can be prevented if people tried to improve a number of risk factors, including lack of physical activity, obesity and smoking.

Retirement Living residents are the Internet's newest stars

A group of residents at a retirement living community in Michigan are the Internet’s newest overnight celebrities.

The Clark Retirement Community, a continuing care facility in Grand Rapids Michigan, produced a video in late June with the help of students from Grand Valley State University, showcasing 100 of their residents lip-syncing to the tune of Michael Bubles hit, ‘Feeling Good,’ according to the Grand Rapids Press.
