However, more retirement living communities are showing that this image is out of date. recently took a look at some of the most luxurious senior living homes in the country and found beautiful, expansive areas offering five-star chefs, dog-walkers and 24-hour concierges.

Saddlebrooke Ranch in Oracle, Arizona, offers residents an 18-hole golf course with five tee options, as well as a full-service spa.
