This recipe is extremely simple, yet very good! No campfire is necessary, but you do need a stove top!
1 lb ground beef (lean is best)
1 small or medium onion, chopped
2 cans of vegetable beef soup*
Brown the ground beef then chop it into small pieces. Add chopped onion and mix well over medium heat. Add contents of the two cans of soup. You don't need to add water, except you may want to add up to 1/2 cup of water just to get the consistency you would like.
Heat through. Serve in bowls.
*If you are on a low-sodium diet, you can use low sodium
