Christmas comes early for residents at Gran's Home assisted living facility

Seniors at the assisted living facility Gran's Home, located in Alabama, have gotten some presents a little early this year thanks to Jani Criss and her daughter, Hannah, according to The Dothan Eagle.

The duo performed tambourine music, playing along to the beat of Let It Snow, in front of a gathering of residents. In addition to the casual concert, the two women presented each member of their audience with a miniature Christmas tree.

"We just wanted to share a little joy with you," Criss told them, according to the news source.

Christmas comes early for residents at Gran's Home assisted living facility "This is our Christmas present to you, your own little Christmas tree. We want to wish you a merry Christmas. We wish you joy and happiness."

Resident Margaret Lilley was happy to receive the gift and it now stands on her dresser as a decoration for the season.

Before the duo arrived, a marching band visited the facility to herald in the arrival of the holidays with other joyful tunes.

Those who are planning to get together with a senior citizen at an assisted living facility to celebrate Christmas may want to see if there are any activities planned among the staff and residents. These can be festive events that are fun for the whole family.
